How to use Excel to PDF

  1. Add your spreadsheet

Drop an XLSX, XLS, ODS or CSV file. It stays on your device.

  2. Choose sheets and layout

Tick the sheets to print and pick page size and portrait or landscape. Wide tables fit best in landscape.

  3. Download the PDF

Each sheet becomes a table that continues across pages, with the header row repeated.

Frequently asked questions

Which spreadsheet formats work?

XLSX, XLS, ODS and CSV. Dates, numbers and formulas are printed as shown in the sheet; formulas use their last calculated value.

What happens with very wide sheets?

Columns are shrunk to fit the page width, with smaller text as columns are added. Switch to landscape for sheets with many columns. Charts, images, cell colours and merged cells are not reproduced.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. Excel to PDF runs entirely in your browser. Your files are processed on your device and are never sent to a server.

Is there a file size limit?

No fixed limit. The only limit is your device's memory. Very large files work best in a desktop browser.

Is Excel to PDF really free?

Yes. There's no account and no watermark. A short optional ad, or a 20-second wait, unlocks each download. That's how we keep it free.

Does it work offline?

Once the page has loaded, processing happens locally, so it keeps working even if your connection drops.
