Can I write in Hebrew, Arabic or other languages?

Yes. Right-to-left text such as Hebrew and Arabic is detected automatically and drawn in the right direction, and Japanese, Cyrillic and other scripts work too, using the fonts already on your device.

How do I make text readable on a busy photo?

Turn on Outline for a dark edge around light letters, or add a Background box behind the text. A soft Shadow also helps on bright skies. Bold, larger text is easier to read on phones.

Is my photo uploaded, and does it lose quality?

Nothing is uploaded: the text is drawn in your browser. The image keeps its full resolution and is saved in its original format (JPG, PNG or WebP); HEIC photos are saved as JPG.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. Add Text to Image runs entirely in your browser. Your files are processed on your device and are never sent to a server.

Is there a file size limit?
