Frequently asked questions

Does the PDF keep the formatting of the answer?

Yes. Headings, bold and italic, lists, tables, quotes, code blocks and links are laid out as in the preview. Math formulas are kept as their LaTeX source.

Does it work with Hebrew, Arabic, Chinese or Japanese answers?

Hebrew, Arabic and Japanese, yes: the download embeds Noto fonts for them (loaded from this site only when the answer needs them) and keeps right-to-left text in reading order. For scripts it has no font for, such as Chinese, Korean or Thai, the tool offers Print to PDF, which uses your device's fonts; choose “Save as PDF” in the print dialog.

Is my conversation sent anywhere?

No. The PDF is made in your browser and the answer never leaves your device. No AI runs here; it only lays out the text you paste.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. ChatGPT to PDF runs entirely in your browser. Your files are processed on your device and are never sent to a server.

Is there a file size limit?
