Will my photo be accepted?

The sizes match each country's published rules, but acceptance is always decided by the issuing office and requirements change. Check the official rules for lighting, expression, glasses and how recent the photo must be before you submit it.

How do I print the photos at the right size?

Download the 4×6 in (10×15 cm) sheet and order a standard 4×6 or 10×15 print at a photo lab, pharmacy kiosk or on your printer at 100% scale (no "fit to page"). Both files are 300 DPI, so each photo comes out at its official size; cut along the grey lines.

Is my photo uploaded?

No. Cropping, the white background and the print sheet are all made in your browser. For the white background an AI model is downloaded once and cached; your photo never leaves your device.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. Passport Photo Maker runs entirely in your browser. Your files are processed on your device and are never sent to a server.

Is there a file size limit?

No fixed limit. The only limit is your device's memory. Very large files work best in a desktop browser.
