Does changing the speed change the pitch?

No. The audio is time-stretched, so voices and music sound faster or slower but keep their original pitch. Use the Pitch Shifter if you want to change the pitch instead.

How fast or slow can I go?

From half speed (0.5×) to double speed (2×). That covers podcasts, lectures, language practice and transcribing.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. Audio Speed Changer runs entirely in your browser. Your files are processed on your device and are never sent to a server.

Is there a file size limit?

No fixed limit. The only limit is your device's memory. Very large files work best in a desktop browser.
