Frequently asked questions
Which AI image tools does this prompt reader support?
Stable Diffusion web UIs that save a "parameters" text (AUTOMATIC1111, Forge), ComfyUI, NovelAI, InvokeAI and Midjourney descriptions. Any other text found in the file is shown raw, so nothing is hidden.
Why does my image show no prompt?
The settings only survive in the original file. Discord, social networks, chat apps and many editors remove metadata when an image is uploaded, converted or screenshotted.
Can I get the ComfyUI workflow back?
Yes, if the PNG still has it. Press Download workflow (JSON) and drag the file into ComfyUI to load the same graph.
Is my image uploaded?
No. The file is read in your browser; nothing is sent to a server.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. AI Image Prompt Reader runs entirely in your browser. Your files are processed on your device and are never sent to a server.
Is there a file size limit?
No fixed limit. The only limit is your device's memory. Very large files work best in a desktop browser.
