How accurate is the BPM detection?

It is accurate for tracks with a steady beat, typically within about one BPM. Songs with changing tempo or very soft drums are harder, so the tool shows a confidence level and the half-time and double-time readings.

What if the detected BPM is wrong?

Use the tap tempo below the result: tap along with the beat and it averages your taps. It starts over automatically after a pause of two seconds.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. BPM Finder runs entirely in your browser. Your files are processed on your device and are never sent to a server.

Is there a file size limit?

No fixed limit. The only limit is your device's memory. Very large files work best in a desktop browser.

Is BPM Finder really free?
