How to use Merge Audio
Add your audio files
Drop 2 to 20 songs, voice notes or recordings in any common format. They stay on your device; nothing is uploaded.
Set the order and transition
Move tracks up or down, then join them back to back, blend them with a crossfade of up to 5 seconds, or leave a short silence between them.
Merge and download
Choose MP3 or WAV and press Merge audio. The tracks are joined in your browser into a single file.

Frequently asked questions
How does the crossfade work?
The end of each track fades out while the next one fades in over the length you choose. A fade never uses more than half of a track, so short clips aren't swallowed.
Can I join files with different formats or sample rates?
Yes. Mix MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG, Opus and FLAC freely. Every track is converted to the same sample rate and channel layout before joining, so the result plays smoothly without speed or pitch glitches.
Is there a limit on length or file size?
You can join up to 20 files. Everything runs in your browser's memory, so very long merges depend on your device; an hour of audio works on most computers.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Merge Audio runs entirely in your browser. Your files are processed on your device and are never sent to a server.
Is there a file size limit?
No fixed limit. The only limit is your device's memory. Very large files work best in a desktop browser.
Is Merge Audio really free?
Yes. There's no account and no watermark. A short optional ad, or a 20-second wait, unlocks each download. That's how we keep it free.
