The first occurrence of each line stays where it was, and later copies are removed, so the original order is preserved unless you choose to sort.
What does natural sort do?
Natural sort reads digits as numbers, so item2 comes before item10. Plain A to Z sorting compares character by character and would put item10 first.
Does sorting work for other languages?
Yes. Sorting follows the rules of the page language, so accented letters, Hebrew and Japanese sort the way native speakers expect.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
