Frequently asked questions

Is the PDF readable by applicant tracking systems (ATS)?

Yes. The text in the PDF is real text with embedded fonts, not an image, so ATS software and recruiters can search and copy it. The Classic template keeps a single column in reading order, which ATS parsers handle best.

Is my resume uploaded or stored anywhere?

No. The resume is built entirely in your browser and nothing is sent to a server. A draft is kept in this browser's local storage so you can come back to it; Start over clears it. There's no sign-up and no watermark.

How can I edit my resume later or on another computer?

Can I write my resume in Hebrew or Japanese?

Yes. Section headings follow the language of this page, Hebrew resumes are laid out right to left, and Japanese text gets a Japanese font. Those fonts download the first time you need them.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. Resume Builder runs entirely in your browser. Your files are processed on your device and are never sent to a server.

Is there a file size limit?
