Is this online metronome accurate?
Yes. Every click is scheduled ahead of time on your device's audio clock, so the beat stays rock steady and doesn't drift, even at 300 BPM or after an hour of practice.
How does 6/8 work?
In 6/8 the metronome clicks six eighth notes per bar and accents the first, so set the tempo for the eighth note. For a slower two-beat feel, use 2/4 with triplets instead.
How do I find the tempo of a song?
Press Tap tempo in time with the music four or more times. The tempo is set from the average gap between your taps.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Online Metronome runs entirely in your browser. Your files are processed on your device and are never sent to a server.
Is there a file size limit?
No fixed limit. The only limit is your device's memory. Very large files work best in a desktop browser.
